Family Win Training Ground Experience

27 March 2014

A grandson and grandad are the latest supporters to win a prize as part of the Doncaster Rovers Golden Ticket initiative.

Aaron and David Joyce have won a training ground experience for four people after being one of the first 1,500 fans to purchase a season ticket for the 2014/15 campaign.

David, 64, from Styrrup, Doncaster bought the ticket for his 12-year-old grandson so the pair can continue to attend games in the East Stand at the Keepmoat Stadium for another year.

He said: “My grandson is thrilled to win the training ground prize although I’m a little worried they might ask us to join in! We’ve always supported Rovers and bought a season ticket to continue attending games next year.

“It’s been a tremendous season with some superb results. Aaron is over the moon to have Billy Sharp back. He says he is the key to us staying in the Championship this season. We’ve met a few of the players during the warm-ups before games and they have always taken time to sign autographs for Aaron.

“Aaron was a mascot for the Millwall game in December, but Sharp wasn’t with us then, so he’s looking forward to meeting Billy in training.”

Rovers have sold more than 1,600 season tickets for the new campaign ahead of the last weekend before the early bird discount comes to a finish.

And as the club heads towards the 2,000 sale milestone any fan who has bought a season ticket will be entered into the latest prize draw to win an exclusive package with Rovers. The latest offer is to win two seats in the Directors lounge for a Rovers home game at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Existing season ticket holders have until March 31 to save up to £35 in categories A and B, compared to new season ticket holders. There are a limited number of season tickets remaining at just £299 for adults and £219 for concessions in category C seating only.

Rovers have also reduced child season tickets for all areas of the Keepmoat Stadium next season. Supporters aged 11 and under can secure a seat for just £30, while those aged 12 to 16 can have a season ticket for just £70, a reduction of up to 25 per cent. Under 8’s continue to go free within the family area if accompanied by a paying adult or senior.

With the new direct debit scheme, Doncaster Rovers have made it even easier to secure a seat for the new season with a £50 deposit prior to the early bird deadline (31 March) with a three or six month term available. A £20 admin fee applicable, terms and conditions apply.

Rovers Alliance Members are entitled to a five per cent discount on their 2014/15 season ticket if they have been member for at least three months.
