Rovers youngster handed Youth Team contract.

Rovers would like to congratulate youngster Joseph McCormick, who scooped the Young Player of the Year award for the academy.

McCormick, has been with the club for four years and, due to his impressive form for the under 16’s last term, has been handed a two year scholarship with the club’s youth team among others.

Youth team head of development Paul Wilson said, “It’s great for Joseph, the way he’s come through over the years. He’s a promising young player, as this award shows, and for him to win ahead of his peers is a terrific achievement. We have hopes for him to develop and hope he shows that progression in future years.”

Doncaster Rovers Youth Development System is part funded by the Rovers Alliance. The Alliance is an exclusive members club for Doncaster Rovers fans.
