Fan information for Ray Dunning Funeral

21 May 2014

Key times for Rovers fans wanting to come down to the Keepmoat Stadium.

Rovers supporters who are wishing to pay their respects to the life of fellow fan Ray Dunning tomorrow (Thursday 22nd May 2014) are advised to arrive at the Keepmoat Stadium for approximately 3pm.

Mr Dunning tragically passed away while watching his beloved Rovers in their final match of the Sky Bet Championship season at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.

The football club will be opening a kiosk in the South Stand of the Stadium for refreshments for those fans in attendance, this facility will close at 3:30pm.

The funeral procession is due to depart the Stadium for a private service for friends and family; Doncaster Rovers and Ray’s family are aware and open minded to the fact that some fans may wish to form a guard of honour within the inner ring-road at this juncture.

It is suggested that those fans who do attend park in car park 1 at the stadium, the family of Ray Dunning have requested that those wanting to bring flowers instead make a donation to the Ray Dunning Scholarship fund at the Stadium ticket office.
