Ray Dunning Tributes

6 May 2014

Thanks to various football clubs and supporters from Doncaster Rovers and the Dunning family.

On Saturday 3 May, Doncaster Rovers supporter, Ray Dunning, sadly passed away after falling ill whilst attending the Club’s final game of the season against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Both the Club and Ray’s family have been overwhelmed with the number of messages and suggested tributes that have been received since Saturday and thank all fans of Doncaster Rovers, Leicester City and many other football clubs across the Country for their support and sympathy at this time.

In the near future Ray’s family and the Club will be working together to create a fitting tribute, including a potential scholarship fund in his memory as he dedicated his life to supporting Doncaster Rovers.

The Club and Ray’s family ask that any messages of condolence or tribute suggestions be directed to the Club in the first instance.

The Club is communicating on a daily basis with Ray’s wife, Ange, and will forward on all messages and tribute suggestions to her and the family directly.

On behalf of the family, the Club thank everyone for their sincere messages of support at this time and will communicate funeral arrangements at the request of the family.
