Keepmoat heralds new commercial investment.
This Saturday, as Doncaster Rovers welcome Sheffield United to Keepmoat Stadium, a new facility will be unveiled for those in attendance as Rovers new “Big Screen” launches into action.Having been announced earlier in the summer, the big screen has now been installed and is ready for action for this Saturday’s match with the Blades.
Positioned in the South West corner of the stadium, in place of the old scoreboard, the big screen will enhance supporters’ experience of the match as replays, highlights, interviews and team news are displayed.
Commercial Manager, Andrew Whitham, said: “Requests for the Big Screen have been made in almost every ‘In Rovers We Trust’ survey carried out over the past two years, so this project has been taken a long time to complete.
“Finding the right deal for the club which ensured that the screen didn’t require a large financial outlay and could generate a return on investment hasn’t been easy, but we have been able to meet those parameters.
“Whilst this Saturday will see the screen operating at a basic level, over the next few games the production will improve and I’m sure our fans will love the content being produced.”
