Doncaster Rovers have teamed up with specialist sports hydration company iPro Sports in a ground-breaking commercial deal that will run until the end of the season.
iPro Sport, who are perhaps most notable for their sponsorship of Derby County’s stadium, also have other regional clubs on their books including Huddersfield Town FC and the deal is seen as a major coup for the club.The company, which has been in the UK sports market for a brief time, has been making rapid strides and Commercial Manager Andrew Whitham highlighted the importance of the partnership: “The deal brings a lot of qualities to the table and it made sense to get on board with an ever expanding brand.
“iPro Sport have shown their ambition and we want to be part of that, sports nutrition and hydration has become an increasing market and we want to tap in to it.
“There are also plenty of benefits to the playing squad as well. iPro Sport want to improve and maintain the performance of athletes and we’re hoping that, coupled with this, it can be the start of a successful partnership.”
Managing Director of iPro Sport, Dean Cook also expressed his enthusiasm: "The relationship with Doncaster Rovers is another strategic step in iPro Sport's plans to extend into football and other sports.
“We want to help the club move forward by supplying an isotonic drink that we genuinely believe is better than the competition, and hopefully the players will notice the difference on the pitch."
