Doncaster Rovers would like to say a huge thank you to our Rovers Alliance members who have continued to help support the Doncaster Rovers youth development system. It is because of your help and the funds that you put into the club along with the dedication of Paul Dickov, Paul Wilson and countless other staff that we are able to run such a successful youth setup.For the third year in succession, Doncaster Rovers are proud to have signed five new players for the 2014/15 season, who have each progressed through our youth development system and earned professional contracts for the Doncaster Rovers first team. The boys are now enjoying the benefits of training with Paul Dickov and the first team at the Cantley Park Training Ground.
As part of the benefits Alliance members receive we are once again hosting our “From The Locker Room” prize draws, with draws taking place throughout the autumn.
Doncaster Rovers are delighted to confirm our latest prize was Marc De Val’s signed training shirt and the winner is Nigel Jones who resides in West Sussex. Nigel explained his joy at receiving the prize: “It was great surprise to win Marc's training top through the Rovers Alliance locker room prize draw. I live a long way from Donny nowadays, but still support the club home and away as often as I can, so to win a Rovers prize means a lot to me. Good luck to the lads for the rest of the season. RTID.”
With the annual £10,000 jackpot draw approaching, 10 lucky Alliance members will be selected at random in November and will each stand a chance of scooping the life changing 10k prize. The 10 Alliance finalists will participate in the draw, on the pitch, at our fixture against Gillingham on the 13th December.
