Rovers to enter at first round stage for just the second time in seven seasons.

Doncaster Rovers are ball number 17 for the first round proper of the 2014/15 FA Cup, which will be drawn live from St George’s Park on Monday evening.

Paul Dickov, who once famously led Oldham to victory over Liverpool in the fourth round of the competition, saw his Rovers side enter, and bow out at the third round stage last season to Stevenage.

In the hat for tonight’s draw are 48 league clubs from Leagues 1 and 2, as well as more than 32 aspiring non league clubs – some of whom have to overcome tricky replays.

Ninth tier Shildon are the lowest ranked club still in the competition after they took eighth tier Norton to a 4th qualifying round replay.

The highest ranked club, at this stage, are high flying Bristol City.

All ties will be played between 7-10th November 2014.

Rovers last five seasons in the FA Cup:
09/10 – Fourth round; lost to Derby County.
10/11 – Third round replay; lost to Wolves.
11/12 - Third round; lost to Notts County.
12/13 – Second round; lost to Oldham.
13/14 – Third round; lost to Stevenage.

For build up to the first round proper, join us on the Rovers Wall from 6:45pm.
