A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Club Doncaster Foundation, who are currently recruiting 16-18 year olds for a traineeship scheme at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The traineeship gives young people throughout the local region a great chance to get into the sport industry, working throughout the whole of Club Doncaster.Each participant will receive at least two weeks of employment training, working in a variety of roles within the Club Doncaster Foundation, Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster Rugby League from the ground staff to the coaching department.
Alongside this great work experience opportunity, participants will also be taught function skills in both English and Maths.
Candidates will undertake work experience in the following areas/organisations:
o Club Doncaster Foundation – Coaching Team
o Doncaster Rovers FC – Ground Staff
o Doncaster Rovers FC – Club Shop
o Doncaster Rovers FC – Ticket Office
o Keepmoat Stadium – Soccer Centre
o Keepmoat Stadium – Catering & Hospitality
o Doncaster Rovers FC – Media & Marketing
Additionally, the selected participants will all be invited to take part in a four day team building and outward residential trip free of charge.
Courses are flexible and participants can take part from a minimum of 7 weeks to a maximum of 30 weeks.
Ideal candidates will have an interest in working in the sports industry.
