Sam Johnstone has returned to Doncaster Rovers on loan until January, the Club can confirm.The Manchester United goalkeeper is tipped for international recognition with England and is a regular in Gareth Southgate’s under 21’s squad which recently qualified for the European Championships next year.
At just 21 years of age, the athletic shot stopper made eighteen appearances for Rovers last term, keeping four clean sheets.
Rovers boss Paul Dickov was previously looking to strengthen his goalkeeping options due to the imminent departure of Aston Villa loanee, Jed Steer.
