Doncaster Rovers host Notts County in the next first team game at Keepmoat Stadium on November 11th.Rovers face the Magpies in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Northern Area Quarter Final which will be the fourth different competition that the clubs have met in since 2009!
To make the game more accessible to our younger fans, the game will not only kick off at 7:30pm, but supporters under the age of 16 will gain free entry when accompanied by an adult, senior citizen or 17-20 ticket holder.
Paul Dickov’s men came through unscathed against Burton Albion in the previous round – where Richie Wellens’ goal was nominated for the ‘goal of the round’ award – and will be looking to replicate the feat of 2007 where the South Yorkshire club lifted the trophy in South Wales; Graeme Lee’s extra time winner enough to see off Bristol Rovers 3-2 at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in front of over 59,000 spectators.
