Twenty young people in Doncaster have today graduated from the Club Doncaster Foundation volunteer coaching academy scheme which took place over the summer.
The young people have delivered sports coaching over the last six weeks, gaining experience on the Club Doncaster Foundation's summer soccer camps.
All twenty of the people involved in the programme graduated and have each gained a Sports Leaders level 2 award.
From the 20 graduates who took part on the course, 19 of those will now be continuing their work with the Foundation, taking part in the variety of courses Club Doncaster are able to offer.
Head of education Jenna Scully said: "We are delighted with the progress the 20 young people have made over the summer holidays.
"They have all been a real credit to themselves and we are really pleased that every person participating in the volunteer scheme has managed to graduate.
"We now look forward to welcoming 19 of them back to the Club Doncaster Foundation as they begin their academic year later this month."
