Forward desperate to get back to leading the line but says consistency is key.

Curtis Main has revealed his injury frustration to www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk and says that it could be around four weeks before he returns to the fold.

Main, who arrived in the summer from Middlesbrough, had a dream debut when he scored in a 3-0 win against Yeovil; however it’s proved to be difficult since a knee injury ruled him out of action.

“With that first game of the season and the goal and then to follow it up with a tough win at York was great and everything was going well,” Main said.

“Unfortunately, it was the first home game of the season where I picked up this injury and it’s frustrating because I was feeling good, I was feeling fit, but its just one of those things in football and you’ve just got to get on with it.”

Main’s physical presence could be difficult to replicate for manager Paul Dickov who was keen to recruit the 22 year old in July.

“I think consistency will be key this season. At the minute, we're picking up good results and then not the results we want at home.

“If we can start picking up a few more points then everyone will be happy.

“On a personal note, the rehab's been going well following the operation a couple of weeks ago. I’m now on to strengthening the knee and its going well so I cant wait to be back.

“I’m unsure as to which game I’ll be back for specifically so we'll wait and see. We're probably looking at a month's time.”
