Richie Wellens has signed a two year contract extension to remain with Doncaster Rovers until 2016.
Richie Wellens has signed a two year contract extension, subject to paperwork, to remain with Doncaster Rovers until 2016.
The 34 year old midfielder, who enjoyed time with Rovers from 2007 – 2009, returned to Paul Dickov’s side in the summer of 2013 after a spell at Leicester City.
Wellens, a former Manchester United trainee, has made 137 appearances for the South Yorkshire side thus far, having arrived from Oldham Athletic and follows Paul Keegan in extending his stay at the Keepmoat Stadium.
