A brief round up of a variety of angles from last nights 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United.

Sheffield Star - Two South Yorkshire derbies, four world-class goals but, unfortunately for Doncaster Rovers, one result; a Sheffield United victory.
This game at Bramall Lane had everything; plenty of thrills, as Rovers’ Kyle Bennett netted with two stunning strikes. Spills, too; both sides refused to give an inch as James Coppinger and Paul Coutts, in particular, exchanging some meaty challenges in midfield.

Yorkshire Post - DONCASTER ROVERS manager Paul Dickov vented his fury in the direction of referee Scott Duncan after his side’s League One play-off quest suffered a massive setback in a 3-2 derby loss at Sheffield United.
The Blades consolidated their own top-six position by edging out their South Yorkshire rivals by the odd goal in five, with a splendid derby settled by a fine winning goal from Steven Davies on 71 minutes.

Soccer Laduma (South Africa) - Dean Furman was in action for Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night in their League One clash at Sheffield United.
Furman played the full 90 minutes in midfield.
The defeat leaves Rovers ten points adrift of the play-off spots, with just six games remaining.

And how we reported it… Blades edge thrilling South Yorkshire derby at Bramall Lane.
