Rovers and Leeds go toe to toe for final Round 2 spot.
Doncaster Rovers will be unseeded for the Capital One Cup second round draw, should they defeat Leeds United tonight.Rovers will be ball number 24 for the draw if they avenge their Yorkshire rivals and with 12 Premier League sides entering the competition, could be pitted against giants such as Everton or Newcastle United.
Watford and Fulham – whom Rovers played in last season’s competition are still in the hat, as are Aston Villa, who Rovers famously defeated 3-0 a decade ago.
The draw will be televised immediately after the conclusion of this evening’s eagerly anticipated Yorkshire derby and all ties will be played week commencing 24th August.
