Doncaster Rovers are delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with First Buses to improve the bus services pre & post match.Below is a summary of the agreement reached:
First Buses currently run two service buses (58 and 73) past the Keepmoat at 15 minute frequencies, however, both the club and First appreciate that passenger movements are more condensed straight after the match, so have therefore agreed to provide two match day special buses, which will depart as they fill-up post match.
As the frequency of service buses is reduced to 30 minutes on an evening, First have agreed to provide two additional journeys on match day to provide a 15 minute frequency prior to kick off up to 7.20pm.
At full-time they have also agreed to provide two additional journeys departing from the Club Car Parks, which will depart within 15-20 minutes of the final whistle.
First will also accept all First Saver products (Day/Week/Month) and national concessionary passes) on these journeys.
The day tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for kids and give unlimited all day travel on First buses in Doncaster.
The enhanced bus services will be in operation from the Capital One Cup clash against Ipswich Town game next Tuesday.
Chief Executive, Gavin Baldwin would like to thank First Buses for their help in providing these enhanced services for our supporters.
