Comedian and former EastEnders cabbie Terry Alderton features in our matchday magazine.Heard the one about the Southend United fan who would buy the club if he won the lottery?....He only needs three numbers!
The wit and wisdom of comedian and lifelong Shrimper Terry Alderton can be found in this week’s edition of ‘Red and White’ as he spoke to the Rovers matchday magazine prior to heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The 44 year old from Essex was a cabbie in BBC soap ‘EastEnders’ until recently but has focussed his attentions on his “stupid” double act which is recorded for BBC Radio 4 and he labels “a blag”.
Alderton follows other famous fans of clubs Rovers have faced this season including Bury supporter and DJ Mike Read and proud Leeds boxer Josh Warrington.
Complete with a matt finish and perfect bound, the 84 page magazine features the regular thoughts of Paul Dickov and Gavin Baldwin, as well as our respective supporters club.
