A round up of national and regional reports from the weekend's 3-3 draw with Burton Albion.Daily Mail: “Mark Duffy's late equaliser salvaged a point for Sky Bet League One leaders Burton in a six-goal thriller with Doncaster at the Pirelli Stadium in Nigel Clough's first match back in charge.
Duffy lashed home in the 89th minute after Nathan Tyson's penalty had put Doncaster 3-2 ahead with seven minutes left to extend the Brewers' unbeaten run to five matches.”
Sheffield Star: “Darren Ferguson believes it would have been unjust if his Rovers side took all three points from their thrilling clash with Burton Albion.
Rovers looked to have won the game when Nathan Tyson scored from the spot seven minutes from time only for Mark Duffy to equalise for the League One leaders.”
Burton Mail: “Rovers led twice in the game, taking a 1-0 lead through Andy Williams in the fourth minute and eventually going 3-2 up with less than 10 minutes to play when Nathan Tyson converted a penalty.
Rovers came under sustained pressure in spells, particularly towards the end of the first half and as Albion went 2-1 up in the second but, through some defensive lapses from the hosts which led to penalties and converted free kicks, took a point from the game.”
And how we reported it: “It was a thrilling game at the Pirelli Stadium with goals from Andy Williams, Paul Keegan and Nathan Tyson. It looked as though Rovers would take all three points but former Rovers winger Mark Duffy popped up with an 89th minute equaliser for the teams to share the spoils.”
