Pugh done it !

27 February 2015

Joseph Pugh has signed for Rovers as first year scholar following in the footsteps of his father Daral Pugh.

Joseph has signed from Premier League Hull City until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

Joseph said “It’s great to be here, it’s a great set up and I can’t wait to get going. I can’t play in the Cup game against Carlisle but I will be travelling with lads which I am looking forward too”.

Father Daral added, “The Club has changed a bit since my day but I am so happy that my lad is here. Joseph is a centre back or a striker and he likes to get stuck in, I avoided more tackles than I won so I have no idea where he gets that from!”.

Under 18’s manager Paul Stancliffe is delighted to have Joseph with us “We have watched Joseph a lot, and we have come up against him a few times. He is a great lad and a really good signing for Rovers. When we knew of his availability I was straight on the phone. It is a great opportunity for all of us”
