Nando’s, home of the legendary, Portuguese flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, opens its doors in Doncaster today.
Located in the popular Doncaster Leisure Park, the 110-seater restaurant will bring the flavour of Nando’s popular PERi-PERi chicken to locals and visitors to the area. Turning up the heat on opening day, players from the much-loved Doncaster Rovers FC and Doncaster RLFC teams will also be making an appearance and welcoming the new restaurant to the town.The restaurant, designed in Nando’s unique Afro-Portuguese style, boasts several giant pieces of artwork, including a portrait of Nelson Mandela and lots of unique lighting fixtures, along with booths and spaces for larger groups of diners. The opening has also created more than 32 new jobs for the area, ranging from cashiers and grillers to assistant managers.
