Friday saw season tickets go on sale to our loyal supporters and Lee Simmonite became the first person to secure his at 9am.

The launch day was a great success for the club and fans who bought their season tickets on Friday were invited to take on the penalty challenge to try and win £50 in Club Doncaster vouchers.

Sales on the first day have exceeded all expectations, with three times as many sold on opening day than this time last year.

On purchasing his season ticket Lee said: “It’s nice being the first person to renew, I was the first person last season as well and it is great to support my local team.

“It was great to be able to take a penalty and of course taking advantage of the cheaper rate.

“I’ve been a season ticket holder since non-league, my first game was at Belle Vue in 1970, so I’m quite old!”

Lee went on to speak about his thoughts on the current season adding: “One or two new faces in the transfer market might just brighten the squad up a bit more and who knows what is possible.

“Hopefully we can push for the play-offs and finish as high as we can and then hopefully get a decent pre-season under our belts for the new season.”

At £299, you can watch Rovers in the league for just £13 a game!  And with unreserved seating in the South Stand, fans can enjoy a better atmosphere than ever at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Fans who have bought or purchase season tickets before 5pm will also be entered into a special prize draw to win £1,879, £187.90, £18.79 or £1.87.
