Doncaster Rovers, Club Doncaster Foundation, the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and Union Learn have joined forces to support young people in the town.
The club is staging a large recruitment event at the Keepmoat Stadium on Monday January 19th, between 3:30pm-6pm, to raise awareness of post 16 education and employment opportunities available for a variety of roles across Doncaster.
Club Doncaster Foundation, the PFA, and Union Learning Fund are all working together to deliver the careers fair, which is free to attend. Doncaster Rovers & Doncaster Rugby League Club are sponsoring the event and offering the first 200 attendees (including family members) a free match ticket for their home matches against Walsall on February 7th with an additional 100 tickets available to the Dons fixture versus Leeds Rhinos.
The event aims to encourage young people look at education, training and employment opportunities by offering courses and apprenticeships, which are available for immediate starts and further starts in September 2015.
Education and training providers from across Doncaster will be attending to talk to prospective students of all ages.
A stadium tour is scheduled at 4:30pm as part of the recruitment day which takes place via the East Stand on Stadium Way, Doncaster.
