Strictly NO Pyrotechnics

30 January 2015

Club reiterates stance on pyrotechnic devices.

Doncaster Rovers would like to remind all supporters travelling to Proact Stadium on Saturday that the use of pyrotechnic devices is strictly forbidden.

The club has a firm stance on the use of pyrotechnics, whether it be at Keepmoat Stadium or at any other football league ground; they can not and will not be tolerated.

Such is the determination of the authorities to eradicate the use of pyrotechnics from football, any supporter found to be using them could be liable to a criminal conviction and, in certain cases, imprisonment.

As a Club, Doncaster Rovers imposes an indefinite ban on any supporter who violates our strict 'no-pyrotechnics' policy.

As well as negatively affecting other fans enjoyment of the game, pyrotechnics are a serious danger to those with breathing difficulties and disabled supporters who can not easily escape from the smoke.

Should anyone see or witness any behaviour that relates to pyrotechnics then they are urged to contact the nearest steward or police officer.

Thank you for your continued support.
