Second cricket tournament to be held after successful debut.
Doncaster Rovers, in partnership with the Club Doncaster Foundation, are delighted to announce the second Big Bash Cricket tournament.Following the success of the first tournament held at the end of June, Big Bash 2 will take place on Tuesday 28th July between 6.00pm and 10.00pm at the Doncaster Rovers Soccer Centre.
Each match will consist of 10 overs per side with a 45-minute time limit on each innings.
Each team will consist of six members and is open to anyone over the age of 14, male and female.
Martin Brown of inaugural winners Bentley Colliery Cricket Club commented; “We really enjoyed the first night, it was all centered around having fun and enjoyment. There was a really relaxed atmosphere throughout the night from the staff and all the teams; this meant there wasn't much pressure, especially on the younger players. We can’t wait to take part in Big Bash 2.”
