Foundation Friday: NCS picture diary

31 July 2015

Doncaster's NCS in full swing.

The summer edition of Doncaster’s National Citizen service has got underway and you can check out the participants with our picture diary by clicking here!

NCS is a youth engagement programme available to all 15-17 year-olds in England during the school holidays, where people build skills for work and life, whilst taking on new challenges and meeting new friends.

Doncaster's NCS participants have and will continue to travel to the Lake District and get the chance to take part in a series of adrenaline filled activities such as rock climbing, abseiling and raft building, whilst also picking up key life skills through first aid training.

Upon their return, participants also carry out a social action project to help the local community in and around Doncaster.

There are still a very limited number of places available on the NCS summer programme, strictly on a first come, first served basis, departing on August 3rd, 10th and 16th.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up today!

If you would like to get involved please call us immediately on 01302 764663 (option 2) or visit www.drfc-community.co.uk/ncs-programme
