The latest from Wolves ahead of our final pre season fixture on Saturday 1st August (3pm).

Wolves has not been the hive of activity which many expected in pre-season despite Molineux being swarmed by honey bees in the off season.

Kenny Jackett has chosen instead to fine tune a squad that finished last season outside the play-offs on goal difference. Jackett will be hoping that Nouha Dicko’s three year contract extension will lead to more goals and help fire the Black Country club higher next term.

Dicko’s partner in crime, Bakary Sako, departed the club in the summer after failing to agree on a new contract while other experienced players Tomasz Kuszczak, Leon Clarke and Sam Ricketts have all headed the departures list.

Meanwhile, promising young English players Jed Wallace and Conor Coady have agreed three year deals after arriving from Portsmouth and Huddersfield Town respectively but the generous 5/1 odds of promotion may shorten if late additions are made.

Tickets for the game against Wolves are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and can be bought HERE or by calling 01302 762576.
