Preparations are well underway at Keepmoat Stadium in readiness for the 2015/16 Football League season with pitch restoration only a month from completion.Head groundsman Jim Davison and his team have been working flat out to ensure that the playing surface is in perfect condition come August.
Keepmoat Stadium also houses Doncaster RLFC, Sheffield Eagles and Doncaster Rovers Belles, as well as the Doncaster Rovers first team.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates on the progression of the pitch over the next month – Jim’s even promised some more attractive cut designs are to come!
Football returns to the Keepmoat Stadium on 21st July (7:45pm) when Rovers host Nottingham Forest in a pre-season friendly.
