Experienced keeper signs for Rovers.
German goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann has put pen to paper to become Doncaster Rovers first signing of the summer.
The experienced 34 year old has joined Paul Dickov’s side on a two year contract (subject to Football League and FA clearance) from Championship side Preston North End.
Born in Gutersloh, Stuckmann began his career in Germany before joining Preston in 2011. The 6 ft 6" cult hero made 77 appearances during his time in the North West and was voted Player Of The Year for the 2011/12 season.
Fans can see Stuckmann in a Rovers shirt this summer with pre season friendlies lined up against Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Wolves, tickets for which will go on sale on Monday 15th June.
