Doncaster Rovers host Scunthorpe United on Sunday looking to complete a satisfying double over their close rivals.Paul Dickov’s men have only achieved doubles on three occasions this season – against Yeovil Town, Coventry City and Colchester United – and will be looking to steal 6 points from the Iron in the 12:15pm encounter.
Mark Robins’ United have enjoyed somewhat of a revival in recent weeks and developed a certain resilience that has seen them defeated just once in their past eight games; thus pulling themselves clear of any final day relegation dramas.
Their upturn had coincided with the arrival of Rovers loanee striker Theo Robinson who nabbed three goals in just eight starts while at Glanford Park.
