FA Youth Cup: Rovers to take on Carlisle

November date confirmed for FA Youth Cup trip.

Carlisle United have been confirmed as Doncaster Rovers second round opponents in the FA Youth Cup, after they defeated Tranmere Rovers 3-2 last week.

The tie will be played away on Tuesday 17th November, 7pm kick off at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park Stadium.

Rovers defeated local rivals Barnsley in the first round of the competition thanks to a dramatic extra time winner from Michael Carberry.

Paul Stancliffe's side made the fourth round of the competition last year having defeated Morecambe, Peterborough and Norwich before narrowly losing out to Swansea City.

The sides last met in the Youth Alliance Cup in March this year where the Cumbrians were victorious in what was a very keenly contested encounter.

Ticket details for those wishing to back Rovers future stars at Brunton Park are as follows:
- Adults £3
- Concessions £1.50
- Under 16's FREE (U11's must be accompanied by an adult)
