Recently we communicated the club has made the decision to review our supporter communications and fan engagement strategy to enable us to take things to the next level.
The club are well positioned to re-engage with the wider fan base and to utilise the knowledge and networks of individual supporter groups to help move the club forwards.Over the next few weeks the club will be meeting with members of our supporter groups to understand their thoughts and suggestions, but we also want other supporters to get in touch with us so your opinion on how we all drive the fan experience from here can be heard.
You may be a family, a disabled fan, a fan that wants the supporter services to improve in general; we want all of our fans to get in touch with ideas of how we can make things even better.
The previous work between the club and our supporters has led to some great successes over the last few years that have resulted in some positive internal and external feedback, national PR and most importantly our supporters having a better time at the stadium. The club will now engage on a more ‘1-2-1’ basis with our supporters to develop the “off field” experience.
Over the next few weeks the club will consult with supporters for the best model of communications and will remain committed to fan engagement and improving our supporter service. The club expect to have any new projects up and running in the New Year.
The club will communicate further over the coming weeks. For anyone wishing to suggest ideas for helping communications between the club and supporters please either contact the chairman of your supporters group or email Marketing and Communications Manager Ryan Murrant directly at ryan.murrant@clubdoncaster.co.uk
