The Club Doncaster Academy is to showcase its new state of the art 3G astroturf pitch at a 16 team winter tournament.
Recent renovations have seen the Facility receive a face-lift throughout, and it is now all set to play host to avid footballers from throughout the region, with the tournament kicking off at 6pm on Friday, December 11th.The 7-a-side tournament, which is open to all over the age of 16, will consist of a round robin stage with four groups of four, followed by a Semi Final and Final stage.
Our newly named Alick’s Bar will be open throughout the night serving a range of refreshments, with a presentation ceremony at the end of the event.
A range of great prizes will be on offer, including the winners scooping a hospitality box for a Doncaster Rovers game between now and the end of the 2015/16 season (subject to availability).
This is just the first in a long line of exciting new developments at the Facility, with a Junior Tournament planned for the New Year and many more activities pencilled in for 2016.
Entry is £50 for a squad of 10 people, so just £5 per man for a night of footballing entertainment with the potential to win great prizes.
