Midfielder moves to Oldham until New Year.
Richie Wellens has joined fellow Sky Bet League One outfit Oldham Athletic until January 2nd 2016.The 35 year old midfielder has made 199 appearances for Doncaster over two spells and will head to Boundary Park for the second time in his career.
Wellens, who will not be eligible to play against Doncaster on December 28th, is cup tied and will not be able to play in the Latics FA Cup tie against Sheffield United, having played for Doncaster against Stalybridge in the first round as a substitute.
