What The Papers Say

17 November 2015

A quick round up of reports from Rovers' latest win; 2-0 over Blackpool.

Doncaster Free Press - Doncaster Rovers produced their best performance since Darren Ferguson’s arrival as they ran out 2-0 winners at Blackpool.
That is the verdict of Ferguson himself who was delighted with his side’s third straight win and third consecutive clean sheet.

Yorkshire Post - Doncaster chief Darren Ferguson was delighted to register a third successive win especially as it came against a side who had won three and drawn two of their previous five home games.
Rovers outplayed their hosts during the first half and, though Ferguson admitted they were sloppy at times after the break, they proved solid at the back to register a third consecutive clean sheet in all competitions.

Blackpool Gazette - Neil McDonald described his Blackpool side as “in a fragile state” after Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Doncaster saw them crash back into the relegation zone.
The Seasiders rolled over for Darren Ferguson’s rejuvenated side, who scored both their goals in the first half and were comfortable winners.

And how we reported it… “On five minutes Darren Ferguson’s side took the lead with a superb goal from the in form Andy Williams.”

Rovers are next in League action when they host Rochdale on Saturday 21st November 2015 (3pm). Tickets can be bought ONLINE HERE or via 01302 762576.
