Belle Vue to be remembered

2 October 2015

New wallpaper in the Belle Vue Bar to commemorate Belle Vue.

Fantastic work from the VSC and Martin O’Hara has allowed the Belle Vue Bar to undergo a ‘makeover’ ahead of tomorrow’s local derby against Barnsley.

With the news that Doncaster Rovers old ground Belle Vue was to be knocked down and rebuilt on, fans of the club felt it was right to commemorate the ground at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Led by Martin O’Hara and with the help of Communications Manager Ryan Murrant, Rovers fans from the forum have kindly donated money to cover the cost of the new wall displays in the bar.

Martin O’Hara of the VSC speaks about the transformation: “With Belle Vue being built on, it’s important that we remember it. It’s a memorable place to so many Rovers fans and where better to remember it than the Belle Vue Bar.

“The bar was renamed by the supporters and now it’s being decorated by the supporters as well. There will be a plaque with everyone’s name on who has contributed.”

Situated in the West Stand, the Belle Vue Bar welcomes all supporters from home and away clubs with Sky Sports shown on the TV screens prior to kick off and after the match. Why not take advantage of the nice weather with the outdoor picnic tables provided?

With Yorkshire Caviar on offer for £4 and two pints for £6 the Belle Vue Bar is the perfect place to soak up the match day atmosphere.

Come and have a look at the newly decorated bar before kick off and try to identify yourself on our new wallpaper!

Tickets for tomorrow’s local derby are still available with ticket prices being reduced to just £20. Buy yours here or call 01302 762576
