Following media reports and speculation linking CEO Gavin Baldwin with a move away from Doncaster Rovers, we can confirm that there is no truth in any of these rumours.Gavin Baldwin said: “I regard myself as honoured to work for Doncaster Rovers Football Club and very lucky that our owners have such little motivation for self gain.
“I can confirm that I am as I always have been, absolutely 100% committed to Doncaster Rovers Football Club. This is a very exciting time for the Football Club and for all at Club Doncaster as we continue to develop both to make the business as one stronger.
“The final piece in the jigsaw is securing the new manager and the right man to drive Rovers forwards in the short, mid and long term. The club remains ambitious for Championship football and we are confident that we can still achieve the play-offs.
“These are very exciting times for us all here and we all believe that in Doncaster Rovers we can deliver the team that our supporters deserve and in utilising the product that is Club Doncaster we can make our communities proud, an ambition I am not aware of anywhere else in the country.
“The Owners are committed to Doncaster Rovers, Club Doncaster and to Doncaster as a town and to have such a singular vision is as unique as it is exciting. Their only motivation is for us to improve in all we do for the people of Doncaster and this includes building a successful football team."
