Rovers defender helps end 30 year wait for Northern Ireland.

Luke McCullough was an unused substitute as Northern Ireland drew 1-1 in Finland on Sunday evening to cement their place at the top of Euro 2016 qualifying Group F.

The Rovers defender earned his fifth international cap when he replaced Manchester United’s Paddy McNair in Thursday’s pivotal win over Greece which booked their place at the finals in France next summer.

The 3-1 victory over the 2004 winners will end a 30 year wait for the country to appear at a major football tournament.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Luke and his teammates on their achievements.

Luke will be back in domestic action on Saturday when Rovers welcome Bradford City to Keepmoat Stadium.

Tickets, which are priced at just £15 for adults, can be BOUGHT ONLINE HERE or by calling 01302762576.
