Darren Ferguson completes his first signing as Doncaster boss.
Doncaster Rovers have today secured the loan services of Premier League youngster Conor Grant on a one month deal.The 20 year old winger has joined from Everton and could go straight in to Darren Ferguson’s squad to face Colchester United at the weekend.
Grant becomes Ferguson's first signing at Doncaster and the Scot was glowing in reference to the top flight startlet: "He’s a good player, a very good footballer. The two clubs want to play in a similar way – between the lines through the thirds of the pitch – and he’s got a lovely left foot," he said.
"He’s a good size and is ready to play and get out on loan, like he did at Motherwell last year and thankfully for us, he’s chosen to come here."
Having come through the ranks at Goodison Park, the midfielder was named on the bench for Everton’s Europa League tie against FC Krasnodar of Russia in December 2014.
