Club confirm that recruitment for first team manager is ongoing.
Last week Doncaster Rovers Football Club promised to keep supporters up to date with the recruitment process for the first team manager position of the Football Club.The club can confirm the process is on track and we are extremely pleased and excited about the high calibre of candidates that have either applied directly of via their agents.
The deadline for applications is 25th September. From there a shortlist will be drawn up and interviews will commence over the following two weeks.
The Board of Directors want to state that the process will not be rushed, that Rob Jones will be given the best chance to perform while in temporary charge, and that they are 100% comfortable that the recruitment process they are following will ensure that we get the very best manager for the Football Club.
We will keep you informed throughout the recruitment process and, unless anything moves quicker than anticipated, the next communication will be on Monday 28th September. On that day we will also confirm all future communication dates on this matter.
