Belles earn promotion with win against Bees.
Doncaster Rovers would like to congratulate Doncaster Rovers Belles on their promotion* to FA WSL 1.Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, the league’s top goal scorer, bagged a brace in a 2-1 win over London Bees at The Hive which ensured that the Belles return to the top flight for the first time since 2013, having narrowly missed out on promotion last term.
The table-topping Belles currently hold a three point advantage over Reading – who also won promotion – going in to their final two games; both of which are at Keepmoat Stadium against Oxford (3rd October) and Millwall (18th October).
