Rovers recruit young Villain to strengthen back line.
Niall Mason has become Doncaster Rovers second signing in one day, having arrived at the club on loan from Championship outfit Aston Villa until January.
Nineteen year old Mason follows Jordan Houghton’s earlier arrival and bolsters the defensive ranks at Darren Ferguson’s disposal.
Mason, who has developed in the academies of Real Madrid and Southampton, joins up with Villa teammate Riccardo Calder and could be included in today’s squad to travel to Accrington Stanley in the season opener.
