Belles CDA partnership

4 February 2016

As part of the exciting development of Club Doncaster, we are delighted to announce that Doncaster Rovers Belles will use the Keepmoat Stadium as their training hub ahead of their FA WSL 1 campaign.

Club Doncaster Academy, as one of the best sports campuses in the region, is able to provide the first class facilities that the Belles require with its brand new 3G astroturf pitches making Keepmoat Stadium the ideal location.

Having turned professional since their promotion last term, the Academy will provide the perfect fit for the Belles, according to head coach Glen Harris who said: “Doncaster Rovers Belles appreciate the support from Doncaster Rovers – and Club Doncaster Academy – in helping us in our preparations for our return to WSL 1 through the use of their facilities whilst the development of our brand new complex is complete. In working in partnership with them we have the joint aim of making Doncaster even greater on the sporting map.”

Club Doncaster Academy co-ordinator Tom Butterworth said: “To be able to attract a team of the Belles calibre shows how we’ve made marked improvements to the facilities at Keepmoat Stadium. We’re hoping that this demonstrates how we have made significant upgrades at the Club Doncaster Academy and how serious it is to the Belles in their preparations for competing at the highest level of women’s domestic football.”

As part of the relationship with Doncaster Rovers Belles, we are also pleased to announce that all Rovers Season Ticket holders will gain free entry in to ALL Belles home games.
