Rovers to feature on Saturday's ‘Nick Kicks’

5 February 2016

New children’s TV show, ‘Nick Kicks’ will be aired for the first time on Nickelodeon this Saturday and Doncaster Rovers will feature.

Nick Kicks, Nickelodeon’s new family football show starts this Saturday featuring goals, fans and fails from The Football League.

The new show premieres at 8:00am tomorrow (Saturday) on the Nicktoons channel.  Presented by Rachel Stringer and Roman Kemp, Nick Kicks is a brand new live-action football programme covering all 72 clubs of The Football League. The series features highlights across each week's Football League matches, as well as the more humorous moments from the week and a look ahead to upcoming games.

If you're a young fan of Doncaster Rovers, tomorrow’s show is not to be missed. The Nick Kicks team paid a visit to Cantley Park back in January and dared midfielder Richard Chaplow to take on their ‘chip n bin’ challenge!

Conor Grant and Billy Whitehouse also took part in the Nick Kicks ‘team mates’ challenge with custard pie consequences to find out how well they really know each other, before manager Darren Ferguson took part in Nick Kicks question and answer quiz!

Nick Kicks also takes viewers behind the scenes of The Football League with exclusive visits to local clubs that see managers and players taking part in a range of fun and entertaining features!

SpongeBob SquarePants himself will feature in the series as he takes on various club mascots in weekly challenges, while the first episode will see Football League club mascots join SpongeBob to set a new Guinness World Record!

Nick Kicks will be broadcast every Saturday morning for the rest of this season until after the Play-Off Finals, before returning for the entirety of Season 2016/17 and 2017/18.
