From the Chairman…

A message from Doncaster Rovers Chairman David Blunt to supporters.

To all of our supporters:

Thank you to those supporters that have invested in their 2016/17 Season Tickets to date. Your support, as always, is much appreciated and your commitment is recognised by us all at the Club, from those on and off the pitch.

As was mentioned at the recent Meet the Owners event, Darren Ferguson’s progress on the pitch and Gavin Baldwin’s leadership off the pitch are the reasons that this Club are striding forward, and we should all be very proud of that. With the bigger picture and with the Club Doncaster brand we are pleased that so many of you are embracing the benefits this can bring to the Club and to Doncaster as a town as we aim to instil civic pride through Rovers, Dons and the Club Doncaster Foundation and Sports College.

We have listened to your feedback with Season Ticket pricing and have therefore frozen them whilst extending the early bird deadline until April 4th. We hope this helps you all as you continue to support Doncaster Rovers on this very exciting journey that we are on.

At the Meet the Owners event Darren Ferguson very openly (and righty so) praised the atmosphere that you all help to create on match days. The atmosphere that you engineer has significantly improved since you all helped successfully implement the unreserved seating area in the South Stand. We now want you to join us for the 2016/17 season and to take advantage of the pricing structure to ensure we have as many supporters here on matchdays as Season Ticket holders as we aim to push towards a return to the Championship.

Without doubt Darren Ferguson has given us, as promised, a better style of football, a more entertaining product and one that is working towards something very exciting next season. With you, our supporters, creating such a fantastic atmosphere here on matchdays whilst we watch Darren and his squad fulfil his promise of committing to a more entertaining brand of football; the Keepmoat Stadium really will be a good place to watch football in 2016/17.

I look forward to seeing you here, and to us all being part of it.

Thanks again for your magnificent support.

David
