Goalscoring defender lauds Rovers recent win.

Aaron Taylor-Sinclair said that he and his Doncaster Rovers teammates were keen to build on back to back away wins against Oldham and Southend.

Rovers are now unbeaten on the road in all competitions since late October.

"I think we’ve done well," Taylor-Sinclair said of the festive spell which yielded six points from a possible nine.

"We’re disappointed with the defeat at home to Scunthorpe but we're back on a good run now."

Taylor-Sinclair helped Rovers keep their first clean sheet in seven games and also registered his second goal of the campaign as he volleyed home Conor Grant's corner.

"I said after the Blackpool game (in which he scored his only other Rovers goal) that I’m a one a season man but I’ve got two now and I’m just happy that it’s helped the team out and hopefully we can progress from there.

"It was a good performance from the lads - probably up there with one of the best this season, especially in terms of away from home so it's a happy dressing room.

"We said that if we keep a clean sheet then we have a really good chance of winning and that’s been proved.

"The support from the fans has been brilliant and we say that on every away game, so long may that continue."
