Doncaster Rovers can confirm that Liam Mandeville has today signed a new contract with the club.
The 19 year-old has penned a three year deal to remain at the Keepmoat Stadium until at least the end of the 2018/19 season.
Mandeville who has been part of the Doncaster Rovers Academy from the age of 16, is one of a number of players to come through the successful system.
In the last season alone the Academy has seen the likes of Mandeville, Harry Middleton and Mitchell Lund all go on to start games for the first team on a regular basis.
The striker made his first team breakthrough back in April 2015, coming on as a late substitute against Bradford City at the Keepmoat Stadium, before going on to make another two appearances before the end of the campaign.
He made two starts for Rovers last year and a further eight appearances from the bench, scoring his first goal for Doncaster against Walsall in February, fifteen days before his 19th birthday.
You could see Mandeville in action against Premier League side Middlesbrough at the Keepmoat on Saturday. Tickets are available from £10 adults, £5 concessions and free for juniors with a full paying adult. To purchase you tickets click here.
