Rovers Player will return on Saturday with the visit of Premier League Middlesbrough to Keepmoat Stadium in our first home pre-season friendly of the summer.
Aitor Karanka’s Boro side – which could include World Cup winning goalkeeper Victor Valdes – are expected to provide a stern test ahead of the EFL Sky Bet League Two campaign which commences on 6th August.
Lead commentator Tom Biltcliffe will be joined on air from 2:45pm by the returning Doncaster Free Press Sports Editor Paul Goodwin reuniting a duo that first took to the airwaves back in August 2011 when Rovers travelled to Brighton and Hove Albion on the first day of the Championship league season.
We’ll also have full live and exclusive coverage of our second, and final, home pre-season friendly against Newcastle United on Wednesday 20th July from 7:30pm.
