We are proud to announce that the Keepmoat Stadium has been chosen as the Challenge Cup semi-final venue between Wigan Warriors and Hull FC.The venues for this year’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-finals have now been confirmed and both games will be broadcast live on the BBC.
Wigan Warriors, 19-time Challenge Cup winners, will play against league leaders Hull FC in the first semi-final which will take place the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster.
The match will be played on Friday July 29 (BBC Two, 8.00pm). This highly-anticipated clash between two of First Utility Super League’s in-form teams is sure to be one of the must-see games of the year.
Chief Executive of Doncaster Rugby League Club Carl Hall said: “I’m over the moon and we’re all very proud. It’s fantastic that we can bring such a prestigious event to the Keepmoat Stadium and we hope to get a good crowd here on the Friday night.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Club Doncaster who has helped us secure the game."
