Loyal supporter takes home close to £2,000 for buying his Season Ticket early.
A delighted Adam Dawson beamed as he clutched a cheque for £1879 as the lucky winner of our 1879 Season Ticket draw.
As reward for buying his 2016/17 Season Ticket early, student Adam was entered in to a four man draw to win one of the following sums of money:

The loyal fan, who has attended a dozen or so games this season despite studying some 200 miles away, was informed of his win by his dad who was present at the recent Shrewsbury Town game!
“We were in ASDA at the time doing our shopping and I kept checking my watch around 4pm wondering if the draw had taken place and I asked my dad how I’d got on and he text me with “£…1…8…7…9” so we were going berserk in ASDA and the woman at the check out had no idea what was going on!
“It’s fantastic, it’s nice to see that the club give back for this sort of thing as you don’t really hear of it happening at other clubs and it’s nice to be rewarded for supporting the club for so long – and currently how it’s going.”
Adam, who’s nearest Rovers fixture this season was the recent game at Swindon was in no doubt as to where the windfall would go.
“I think I’m going to be boring and save it as it will be my final year at university next year so it will mean I don’t have to get a part time job and it will help pay for a couple of holidays to America,” he said.
“We’ve also being trying to do the 92 football league grounds so have been to the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Palace, Chelsea and Southampton who are our local side.”
